Film trailer - Plan

My group, which includes; Shaun, James, Sophie and myself decided that we will create a crime/thriller film trailer because we think it will be interesting to make and relatively easy to film. The name of the trailer will be ‘Conspiracy’ since the trailer will leave open the possibility that the investigator will be crooked. We will need around seven or eight people, because we need a few pictures of people that have been murdered by the killer and this would be more effective if the kill count was higher. We also need a male actor to be the proposed killer; this will most probably be James, and also another male actor to be the investigator, which will most probably be Shaun. Finally we need a female actress which can play the part of the policewoman. The trailer should be very fast paced with quick montages, which will be very effective because it keeps the audience on edge with non-stop action. We will have five or six places where we will film and these are; the investigation room, a dark bedroom with a wall of the killer’s victims, a dark alley, in a pub or a social setting and a dark bedroom looking out to a garden, which could be the same place as the first dark bedroom but it will need to be at another angle since it is supposed to be someplace different. We will need to film when it is dark since the lighting in crime/thrillers is usually very dark so we want to make the trailer conventional to the genre.
